Ajax Wireless Jeweller Security System

Jeweller is Ajax Systems' proprietary wireless communication technology. It's the foundation of their widely popular, easy-to-install wireless security systems. ✔ Wireless: Devices communicate with the central hub wirelessly. ✔ Range: Offers an impressive communication range of up to 2,000 meters (line of sight) between the hub and detectors, which can be extended further with range extenders (ReX). ✔ Battery Life: Known for exceptional battery life for detectors, often lasting up to 7 years or more on a single pre-installed battery. This is a major convenience factor. ✔ Encryption: Uses block encryption with a floating key to protect data. ✔ Polling Interval: Communicates with devices every 12-300 seconds (configurable), ensuring quick detection of lost connection. ✔ Frequency Hopping: Automatically switches frequencies to avoid interference and jamming. ✔ Ease of Installation: Extremely fast and simple to install, as no cabling is required. AJAX Fibra Wired Surveillance System

Fibra is Ajax Systems' newer, proprietary wired communication technology. It combines the reliability of wired connections with some of the smart features of Ajax's wireless system. ✔ Wired: Devices connect to the central hub via a physical cable (4-core cable). ✔ Power delivery: Fibra devices are powered directly by the hub through the same cable that transmits data, eliminating the need for batteries in the detectors. ✔ Range: Can support cable lengths of up to 2,000 meters on a single line. ✔ Data reliability: Wired connections generally offer higher data reliability and are immune to wireless interference. ✔ Security: Inherits Ajax's advanced encryption and anti-sabotage features. ✔ Installation: Requires professional cabling, similar to traditional wired alarm systems.
